1. Why did you both get into acting?

I got into acting because I love telling stories which entertain. I love the magic behind it all. How someone can sit there an forget themselves, whilst hanging off and listening to every word that is said in Film, TV, or on Stage and be as involved in the piece as much as the actors. I love the selflessness of it as well. How when you are on that stage you are not important. I can push the boundaries, get lost in many different worlds, and make those come alive for everyone watching. It’s the most thrilling thing in the world.

2. Where did you train?

I was in Group 44 at the extremely Prestigious Actors boot camp known as The Drama Centre.  I also did a year at RADA before moving into The Drama Centre. For me, my training will always be the most important thing to me in my professional life. To remember the roots from which I sculpted my craft I hope will always keep both myself and my performances truthful and humble.

3. What has been one your most memorable acting experiences?

There has been quite a few. But the one that sticks in my mind is when I got to perform at The Royal Court with Matthew Macfadyen, Directed by Dominic Cooke. To step onto a stage that has all of that Theatre History, where true greats of my profession had performed was without a doubt a dream come true. Although this job always surprises you, and that is also what keeps me doing it. You never know where you may be next week, or who you may be working with. It’s exhilarating.

4. What acting projects have you got coming up?

The main thing taking all of my attention at the moment is a Film I am Producing as well as performing in called 'Losing It'. It is being Produced by my company Coalition Pictures London. I am also just finishing off a film for a great New Zealand Company called Mr. Falcon. It’s a Film called 'Stop' Directed by Michael Humphrey and tackles global warming in one of the most heart warming ways I have ever seen. Hopefully it will be a cracking film as well. I also have a horror film coming out later this year which has June Brown MBE in it. It’s called 'Dead Lucky' Directed by Andi Cooper. So look out for that.

5. Why did you decide to produce Losing It?

The story was there and I wanted the part. I knew we had a great team around us and it just felt like the story had to be told - so I did. Also in this day and age there is so much competition what with Talent Shows making everyone believe they can be famous; our business is clogged up with real crap. People who think fame and fortune lies dormant waiting for them to expose it, and they have no appreciation for the art, craft and hard work that goes into carving a career - however they still take jobs and cheapen the market place for actors like myself - and I didn't want this film to fall into the hands of someone like that. Also Producing your own work is a really positive step forward to make sure I keep creative and active in my craft.

6. What is it about?

I play Dan, who works in a hospital, and we follow him and his girlfriend through a story of love, sacrifice and above all desperation.
I can't give too much away, but it will definitely be worth watching.

7. Who is starring in it?

Myself and a dear friend and extremely talented actress called Sarah Linda.  We met on a film set for a film called 'Germ Free Adolescent' Directed by Kristof Deak and the chemistry was good there and so we decided to knuckle down and get on with 'Losing It'.

8.  Is this a short or a feature?

'Losing It' is a short film. What with the collapse of the UK Film Council and the collapse of the South-East England Film Council (as the film is being shot and made in Essex) funding has been near impossible. So to do a feature would have been extremely hard.

9. Who is the writer and director?

The screenplay has had a wonderful journey from its conception to where we are now. The story is from a Short Story by a Hungarian Writer called Zoltan Czeh. We then took the film treatment to a writer called Tommy Draper who start to provide the story for the film, and it all got finished off into the final screenplay by Rebecca Harvey. Who now works for the BBC.  The Director is the same guy who bought Sarah and I together on 'Germ Free Adolescent': Kristof Deak. He's a wonderfully pedantic Director, and has one of the best cinematic minds I have ever come across.

10. Have you started shooting?

We have just shot it. The whole film has been shot on Location in Essex. I have a lot of very kind people to thank for letting us make this wonderful story come to life.

11. You are currently fund raising for the film how can people help?

We are still looking for funding for 'Losing It' so if anyone wants to be involved then get in touch via Facebook (Losing It - A Short Film or Twitter: @losingitshort). We do have a fund raising page but I'm not sure if it is still up and running: www.indiegogo.com/losingit

12. What are your aspirations for the film?

I just want the story to be clear and told well. I suppose the way to do that is down to Kristof really. We will also be looking to take it into Festivals and hopefully to Cannes next year as well. So we will see.

13. What can we expect in the future form Coalition Pictures London?

To keep creating Cinema and Films that people want to watch. That are gritty, challenging, and exceed in all areas. We have no plans to produce another film at the moment, but when the right script turns up we will definitely go full steam ahead again.
