THE MAGIC HOUR

Directed by Amna Khwaja

This supernatural, black comedy follows successful artist Emma as she celebrates her 50th birthday with her husband Jeremy in the hour that the British summertime ends, on Halloween. Jeremy’s present to Emma, a painting he commissioned an artist to paint for her, is tainted with black magic and it knows Emma's darkest secrets. Will she be forced to reveal them?

THE TRANSLATORS

Written by David Maitland

Directed by Erica Miller

Could you help an army destroy a culture you love? What if it was your own country's army? This is the dilemma facing the three intellectuals at the heart of THE TRANSLATORS, suddenly pulled into a war they did not foresee, and forced, as it worsens, to become more and more complicit in crimes. THE TRANSLATORS examines the dichotomy of east vs. west, and timeless questions of loyalty and integrity in the face of overwhelming circumstances.

THE ROAD TO NOWHERE

Written by Sean Cook

Directed by June Trask

Fifty something Geoff has retired from modern life. He now lives with his cat in a cliff-top house in the Isle of Wight overlooking the English Channel. Finally he has peace, he has quiet, he has a lovely view, he has...not much else. His folically challenged neighbour, Gurth is as much fun as watching paint dry and his only perk is having his lawn mowed once a week by the young and attractive Denise. Unfortunately the English Channel is getting wider and Geoff's lawn smaller, a fact that, as yet, has gone unnoticed by Denise. But it's only a matter of time... Will she cross over the road to Gurth; who is much better endowed in the lawn department?
