Alan is a behavioural psychologist and often finds it difficult to switch off at home. He is constantly being introduced to his daughters standards who have never met his standards, in the past they have either ‘whistled too much’ or had ‘awful feet’. When Sally brings home her ‘latest’ serious boyfriend he routinely finds reasons to dislike him.
