THE TRANSLATORS

Written by David Maitland

Could you help an army destroy a culture you love? What if it was your own country's army? This is the dilemma facing the three intellectuals at the heart of The Translators, suddenly pulled into a war they did not foresee, and forced, as it worsens, to become more and more complicit in crimes. The Translators is a political comedy/drama that examines the dichotomy of east vs. west, and timeless  questions of loyalty and integrity.

CAST

Antony Gabriel, Bob Saul, David McCaffrey, Joseph Glynn, Michelle Yim, Neil Chinneck and Yuna Shin

The regular event "The First 20 Minutes", which showcases extracts from new plays has become a firm hit. The plays performed at The First 20 Minutes that have received a positive response from the audience are taken to The Next Stage. Each play will have the chance to shine independently as a rehearsed reading in a supportive environment. You will have the chance to unleash your inner theatre critic by submitting written feedback.

So why not come along and indulge in a night of fresh new writing!
