The Final Stage

After further development the finalists writers from The Next Stage will have the first twenty minutes of their play performed. The audience will vote for which play they want to see produced while an industry panel (playwrights, literary agents, theatre producers, casting directors, directors,  playwrights,  acting agents etc) will score each play out of 10 and will give a short Q and A. The play with the highest score and the highest audience votes will be the winner.  The winning play will be optioned for a year by Writer’s Avenue in which the writer will receive ongoing support via feedback and dramaturgy sessions and a full production of the play in a London venue.
